Effortless Design
Every great composable commerce project starts with a great design. Monogram worked closely with Birchbox’s design team to build a beautiful new design system with Figma components, closely syncing their design with the design of the final Next.js components.
Subscriptions
At the heart of Birchbox’s business is their subscription beauty boxes. They crafted an intricate subscription flow design and data layer that Monogram brought to life. With custom animations and complex state management, this experience is truly one of a kind.
Shopify Plus
Shopify proved to be a valuable partner for helping the development team with first-class support while the project was in development, providing guidance over custom requirements, allowing various complex features to be implemented with ease.
Localization
Birchbox operates in the United States, United Kingdom, and Spain.
We were able to utilize scripts to generate content at build time specific to each locale. This was important because it allowed the application to share components and logic while only serving up data that is relevant to that specific locale, which is a huge performance saver. @
