Fireworks AI

Fireworks AI partnered with Monogram to research, iterate on, and design a new brand identity. Monogram's role was design. The deliverables were a logo system and raster grid, a dark visual identity anchored by a color called Fireworks Purple, a web design foundation of buttons, typography lockups, and background textures, and a Figma template library for social, digital, and print production. Fireworks AI's own engineering team built the marketing pages on top of that foundation.

Fireworks AI grew fast on an agile methodology, and its brand stayed where the company started. The identity no longer reflected the innovation and thought leadership the company was known for by the time Monogram came in. The brief was not a refresh of the old mark, it was an identity built to carry Fireworks AI years forward and upmarket into its target audience.

Day and Night

Monogram designed the Fireworks AI identity to be inherently dark, matching the developer and technical nature of the product. Dark is the system's default ground, so its contrast, imagery, and typography decisions were all made against it first.

A Grid for Every Element

Monogram delivered the identity as a system rather than a set of files. A coherent, flexible raster establishes where every graphical element sits in and around the new logo mark, which is what lets the mark be modified for future needs and locked up against partner logos without redrawing it.

Marketing Pages Without a New Design Round

As part of the branding kit, Monogram designed website examples and elements including buttons, typography lockups, and background textures. That web foundation is what made the brand operational: Fireworks AI's engineering team builds and scales its marketing pages from the delivered elements with very little additional design, so a new page does not start with a design request.

Fireworks Purple, Sourced From Akihabara

Against the dark ground, Monogram set a vibrant purple sourced from the Akihabara Electric Town of Tokyo and made it the official Fireworks Purple. The electric standout energy of an arcade-lit Tokyo night is the effect the color has to carry for a company positioned as a beacon of knowledge in its industry.

Figma Templates for Social and Print

Fireworks AI needed a social media presence for outreach and advertising, so Monogram designed a system of Figma templates and grids built on the new brand guidelines. Each template applies the identity's type, color, and logo rules, so Fireworks AI's marketing team produces digital and print ads at quality without rebuilding the visual system for each one.

AI'SCII Artwork

Every brand needs patterns and backgrounds that reinforce it, and Monogram designed one specific to Fireworks AI: AI'SCII, an ASCII-like artwork assembled from tiny pieces of the new Fireworks logo. Rotating the arrow vectors establishes directionality across a surface, and the pattern was designed to support animation in color and direction for a three-dimensional effect.
