Fireworks AI
Fireworks AI partnered with Monogram to research, iterate on, and design a fresh new brand identity. Monogram designed a fresh, serious yet lively brand identity that propelled Fireworks upmarket well into their target audience.
Day and night
Like many startups, Fireworks started with an agile methodology, growing and evolving insanely fast. Before they knew it, the company brand no longer reflected the values of innovation and thought leadership. Monogram evolved the brand from rooted in the early past into a brand that will propel Fireworks years into the future.
Raster system
Monogram established a coherent and flexible grid system that marks a foundation for all aspects of graphical elements to be placed in and around the new logo mark. This enables easy modification for future logo needs and collaboration opportunities with partner logos and edge cases.
Web foundation
As a part of the branding kit deliverable, Monogram also designed website examples and elements such as buttons, typography lockups, and background textures. This enabled the Fireworks AI engineering team to easily build and scale their marketing operations with very little additional design.
"Akihabara Arcade"
The new Fireworks AI brand was designed to be inherently dark, to align with the developer and technical nature of the product. However, Fireworks AI is a beacon of knowledge in the industry, so a vibrant Purple was sourced from the Akihabara Electric Town (秋葉原) of Tokyo, Japan and chosen as the official "Fireworks Purple" for its vibrant and electric standout energy, much like the glow of the arcade-lit rainy Tokyo night.
Standout Marketing
Fireworks needed to establish a strong social media presence for social outreach and advertising purposes, so Monogram designed a robust and powerful system of Figma templates and grids using the new cohesive brand guidelines to make it easy for the Fireworks AI marketing team to produce high quality digital and print ads.
'AI'SCII Artwork
Every brand needs creative uses of patterns and backgrounds for visual flarir and to reinforce the brand. For Fireworks, Monogram designed ASCII-like art made up of tiny pieces of the new Fireworks logo. Rotating the vectors of the arrows helps establish directionality and can also be animated in color and direction to create a 3D effect.
